We’re proud to be a Licensed Awarding Body authorised by the Quality in Careers Consortium to assess and accredit schools, colleges and work-based learning organisation for the national Quality in Careers Standard.

Why choose us as your Licensed Awarding Body?

-
As a local organisation we care deeply about enabling education providers and young people in the West Midlands to develop and succeed
-
Our supportive, personal approach includes a half-day introductory session delivered face-to-face, and a dedicated Assessor who will carry out your assessments
-
As far as possible, we’ll advise you on how your existing approaches, activities and resources can be used to meet requirements of the standard
-
The cost of our service is transparent, highly-competitive and paid in two stages – £250 on registration with us and £1,200 when you’re ready for final assessment
-
You’ll gain recognition for your work along the way as you’ll receive a certificate for your initial commitment to achieving the standard and further certificates for making good progress and finally achieving it
-
We’re described by schools and colleges as ‘trusted advisors', 'thinking partners’ and ‘innovative’
-
We’re also able to provide any additional, good value support you may need in order to achieve the standard as we’re Matrix-accredited for provision of CEIAG services and also approved to deliver work-related qualifications by the NCFE and CACHE awarding bodies
-
Our range of additional support services includes our Let’s Do Business digital programme that enables young people to engage with employers from a wide range of sectors any day and time including weekends.
Our team

We’re all highly-qualified CEIAG practitioners with recent ‘hands-on’ experience in schools - primary and secondary – and colleges. For example, Kathryn is a Level 7 qualified practitioner who has led CEIAG activities in secondary schools for over 15 years. Until this year, Andrea was Careers Leader in secondary school where she developed Careers provision significantly in order to achieve the QICS. CEO and founder of Career Seekers Direct Ltd, Eva Harrison, is an experienced Quality in Careers Standard assessor, CEIAG specialist and a Registered Career Development Professional.
